Position Title: Loan Partner
The ideal candidate will assume some of the operational responsibilities of the loan process while I focus on the business development activities. After my initial consultation with the potential borrower, I will hand off the communication to the LP who will do the following activities:
LOAN APPLICATION STAGE

Contact customer via email, telephone or text

Determine how the loan application will be taken, whether using a link or taking the information manually over telephone.

Ensure that a complete loan application is obtained.

Collect required documents for prequalification of the loan.

PREQUAL/LENDER SELECTION

Review the documentation received and ensure completeness

Calculate income

Pull credit

Based on profile, determine type of loan to be used.

Check with lenders to ensure loan meets their guidelines

Select best lender for the loan

LOAN SUBMISSION

Once a purchase contract is received, verify completeness of the loan and assign to a loan processor.

Loan processor will submit the loan but will maintain constant communication with the LP who will be the point of contact for conditions the processor is unable to obtain.

LP will monitor the loan approval process and will be the liaison between the loan processor and borrower.

This person will ensure that the communication is fluid between all parties and that the loan approval process flows smoothly and promptly.

Help with resolution to any obstacles encountered.

LOAN TRACKING

Will maintain a well-documented tracking system that details the progress and stages of the loan process.

Will input updates for clients that are pre-approved and looking

CLOSING/POST-CLOSING

Ensure that all dates and properly entered into loan application system.

Ensure closing docs are uploaded.

Request loan compensation

Arrange and coordinate closing gift

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience or background in loan processing, mortgage, or financial services, with a demonstrated ability to manage loan operations efficiently.

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college degree or certification in finance, mortgage, or business preferred.

Strong decision-making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating loan applications and resolving issues.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and clear, effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Proactive problem-solving approach with meticulous attention to detail in managing the loan process and documentation.

Enthusiastic and motivated, contributing to a positive and energetic work environment.
