About the Role
As our Lodge Management Couple, you will play a vital role in creating an environment where guests can experience the best of Botswana’s wildlife and luxury hospitality. This position is perfect for a proactive, resourceful, and energetic couple capable of managing day-to-day lodge operations with precision while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Experience

Ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience from arrival to departure.

Engage with guests daily to enhance their experience and gather valuable feedback.

Organize and oversee special guest experiences, including guided excursions, bush dinners, and personalized adventures.

2. Operational Excellence

Oversee all operational aspects of the lodge, including food and beverage, housekeeping, front-of-house, and guest activities.

Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain high standards of food presentation and service.

Manage inventory levels, maintain stock records, and oversee ordering processes to ensure seamless operations.

3. Staff Management & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of local and international staff members to provide exceptional service.

Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and professionalism of the team.

Foster a positive working environment and culture within the lodge.

4. Financial Oversight

Work with the Camp GM to maintain accurate records of expenses and revenue.

Implement effective cost control measures across all departments.

Regularly report on the lodge’s financial performance, operational updates, and improvement opportunities.

5. Health, Safety, and Environment

Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards to protect both guests and staff.

Implement sustainable practices to reduce the lodge’s environmental footprint.

Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained by conducting regular safety checks.

6. Reporting & Communication

Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports on lodge operations, guest feedback, and any areas requiring attention.
