We are looking for a Medical translators.

Responsibilities :

Translation of Medical Documents: Translate a variety of medical documents, including patient records, clinical trial reports, research papers, and pharmaceutical information, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Terminology Management: Use and maintain a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, ensuring that translations adhere to industry standards and are culturally appropriate.

Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit translated documents for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting requirements.

Collaboration with Medical Professionals: Work closely with healthcare professionals and researchers to clarify medical terminology and concepts, ensuring precise translation.

Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information and sensitive medical data in compliance with privacy regulations.

Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of translation and to address any discrepancies or errors.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on developments in medical science and translation practices, attending relevant training sessions and workshops.

Cultural Sensitivity: Adapt translations to reflect cultural nuances and ensure that the content is suitable for the target audience.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Medical translators – Remote

Language Proficiency: Fluency in at least two languages, including a deep understanding of both source and target languages, especially in medical contexts.

Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts, as well as the ability to translate complex medical language accurately.

Translation Experience: Previous experience in medical translation or a related field is often preferred, demonstrating familiarity with medical documents and practices.

Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in translations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with translation software (CAT tools) and familiarity with medical documentation formats.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for collaborating with medical professionals and understanding their needs.

Professional Certification: Certification from a recognized translation association (e.g., ATA, ITI) may be an advantage and can enhance credibility.
