…an experienced and passionate Senior Backend Engineer who thrives on crafting high-quality, elegant code and implementing features that impact millions of users worldwide. As a part of our agile, interdisciplinary team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our web products and services, taking them to the next level.
YOUR MISSION WITH US:
Java Backend Engineering: Plan, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Java and frameworks like Spring, Micronaut, or JEE.
Collaboration: Partner with developers and designers to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end components.
Performance & Security: Continuously monitor, optimize, and secure web application performance.
Web Development (Bonus): Opportunity to contribute to front-end development on internal projects using JavaScript and frameworks like Vue or React.
User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive, visually appealing designs.
Code Quality: Uphold “clean code” standards and actively participate in code reviews.
Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of web development trends and best practices, especially in Java, software architecture, design, and security.
Documentation: Thoroughly document complex features for future development and maintenance.
Full Lifecycle Involvement: Actively contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
Proven backend development experience (5+ years).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Advanced proficiency in modern Java frameworks (Spring, Micronaut, etc.).
Experience with Docker and DevOps practices (a plus).
Familiarity with front-end libraries like Vue or React (a plus).
Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Curiosity about technical innovation, a hands-on approach, and a collaborative spirit.
Good English communication skills.
