Job Description
The Migration Panel Physician is responsible to provide migration panel medical exams to immigrants of all ages. They review available medical records, perform panel physical exams, identify and order required tests, immunizations and treatments and determine the need for specialists. The Migration Panel Physician plays a central role in the delivery of migration screening as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise the migration health assessment process to fulfil the technical requirements of the resettlement countries in the areas of medical examinations, imaging, laboratory testing, vaccinations, tuberculosis management, treatment and referrals, pre-departure procedures and medical movements, documentation, certification and Information transmission, and other technical areas as may be required.
Conduct health assessment for refugees and migrants including review of medical history, physical examination, evaluation of chest x-ray (CXR) and review of the lab results in accordance with the technical guidelines of the resettlement countries.
Ensure that the CMO is informed about the approvals required to provide health assessments and related services.
Contribute to and maintain a system of quality improvement.
Ensure proper reporting and management of incidents through the Quality Incident Reporting System.
Collaborate with the CMO and public health team on interventions to include surveillance for communicable diseases, outbreak preparedness and response, and other public health services.
Maintain confidentiality and security of migration health data in accordance with the International SOS data protection principles.
Organize systematic collection, processing and analyses of quality migration health data according to guidelines established by the CMO in accordance with International SOS Policy.
Liaise with other medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
Ensures that all medical records are meticulously and accurately maintained.
Provide liaison with external agencies where required to promote chain of care continuity and professional referral/migration handover.
Actively participates in mass casualty exercises and events.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Knowledge:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience post-board certification or 3 years post completion of specialty training where board certification is not available.
Education Required:
Graduated from an approved medical school and completed a residency or fellowship as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) from a school approved by a recognized accrediting body in the year of the applicant’s graduation.
Board Certification, Board Eligibility or Equivalent.
Public Health Training, Medical Specialization in Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine is preferred.
Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Country of Record to provide healthcare within scope of practice.
Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Key Skills:
Current or willingness to develop knowledge and experience with the health segment of United States Refugees Admission Programme (USRAP)
Experience in the provision of immigration medical examinations for Australia, Canada, UK, and New Zealand is preferred.
In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the organization
Effectively applies knowledge of migration issues within the organizational context.
Correctly frames migration issues within their regional, global, and political context.
Ability to provide follow-up care for patients.
Accurate, detailed charting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems.

This position is unaccompanied.
Ability to obtain a base security clearance.
Must be able to relocate to Qatar.
A valid passport from Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
