Mini Game Developer – Unity (Remote)

About Us

LiquidX Studio is a gaming development studio with the goal to produce an open-world AAA game called Pixelmon.

We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil. With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create an entirely unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

The Challenges

You will be involved in different stages and aspects of the game’s creation in a young and enthusiastic team. You will be heavily involved in developing and writing excellent code for exciting mini / casual games revolving around Pixelmon.

What You Can Expect To Work On

Be able to nurture and grow the talent that you work with down the road.

Implement and improve a variety of fast and efficient core software using Unity while working on our mini games.

Maintain and build code using C# for all assigned work streams.

Creating original game mechanics.

Help provide architectural oversight across the entire application.

Collaborate to devise optimal engineering solutions to technical challenges.

Drawing up, documenting and implementing detailed design documentation, including charts and diagrams that outline the various concepts and components involved.

Testing the game and making amendments to enhance its capabilities.

Provide technical leadership to more junior candidates.

Work closely with other departments such as the Design, Art and DevOps teams.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed

Experience: Proven work experience with a minimum of 2 years work experience, and completing mini games/hyper casual web based games in Unity

Familiarity with SCRUM is an added advantage.

Coding: Proficiency in C#, Unity and be able to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. They should be able to work with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.

Source Control: Experience using version control software (Perforce, Git)

Teamwork: Able to work as part of a team.
