Job Description
Gain a deep understanding of the knowledge in the field of electrical energy (such as solar energy, wind power, power balance dispatch, etc.), and apply machine learning to solve common issues in the energy sector with efficiency as a priority.
Develop or maintain ML-related products including solar power generation prediction, anomaly detection in solar power plants, solar panel cleaning prediction, shading prediction, wind farm power prediction, energy storage system optimization, and power dispatching system.
Optimize the performance, user experience, and maintainability of existing ML products while ensuring accuracy.
Responsible for taking new projects from research to productization, planning and establishing ML workflow systems including data acquisition, designing and collecting user label data, data preprocessing and storage, model design, online deployment, etc.
The Successful Applicant
Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent with over 3+ years of experience in ML product development, familiar with the requirements at different stages of the product cycle.
Understanding of the basic principles of Machine Learning.
Familiar with Design Patterns, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, able to write code that separates business logic from development details, making the code easier to test, modify, and extend.
Proficiency in Python and one of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, capable of writing efficient data processing programs.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, network architecture, etc., able to analyze performance bottlenecks.
Proficiency in Linux/Docker/K8s/SQL/NoSQL setup and usage.
