The IT department is the beating heart of our daily operations. Working closely with our Finance Department, you will play a key role in providing accurate solutions to ensure a smooth run of the company’s financial accountability.
The NetSuite Developer is a crucial part of our finance tech team, serving as the primary interface with finance department as it relates to our existing implementation of NetSuite and any future modifications. This is a great opportunity to grow professionally as you will be working with the Finance team on customizing the platform to meet business needs. This will include managing users, roles, and access. Designing and implementing searches, reports, and process monitoring; testing and troubleshooting. Managing configuration changes and script development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in NetSuite with excellent analytical and communication skills.
You will be expected to:
Design, implement, and maintain 3rd party software connections to NetSuite to support various business needs;
Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users, including training;
Monitor end-user usage of systems and track performance;
Design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet evolving needs;
Provide front line support with regard to all aspects of NetSuite and data integrity;
Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPI’s, and dashboards, and maintain proper system access for user roles;
Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third party tools / applications and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs;
Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform;
Be Responsible for the change management and release process of NetSuite;
Maintain the NetSuite application and other related 3rd party business applications for internal users;
Provide a quality and timely communication regarding system status;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization and integration;
Be champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, build for the long-term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices.
It could be you if you have:
2+ years of experience with ERP administration, configuration, and 3rd party integrations in complex environments, including experience with NetSuite;
A Bachelor’s Degree preferred in computer science or a related field of study;
Administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports and dashboards;
Working knowledge of SuiteScript / WebServices, SQL, csv imports, user provisioning, defining roles, analytics and scheduling scripts;
Preferred experience with Order to Cash, SuiteAnalytics, multi subsidiary /multi currency customers, multi subsidiary customizations, multi location customizations;
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required;
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment;
Excellent organizational skills;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting technical problems;
NetSuite Certifications a plus.
