Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor internet connectivity through hardware firewalls (Cisco Pix, ASA and Sonic Wall)

Monitor performance of the network as part of a unit, identifying and proposing methods of optimization

Provide a high level of network security (as defined in IT policies and procedures document) and ensure that appropriate access control be used internally on the LAN

Ensure that all computers are protected for viruses and that all relevant updates and upgrades are applied regularly.

Provide help/support to Network Infrastructure Engineers, Help Desk Staff Technically when they need technical assistance

Coordinating with clients to understand their need and provide the necessary support as required

Provide technical assistance to remote sites help desk and network admin personnel

Organizing maintaining every server room and server room’s necessary equipments / tools

Receive, test, and install systems and computers hardware;

Provide hardware and software troubleshooting support to all office locations, seeking technical advice and support from Senior Network section staff as required

Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on hardware equipment’s (Zebra card printers, Epson printers, Thumb devices, Camera, Hp printers and scanners, etc.)

Ensure timely installation, configuration and upgrading of LAN/WAN hardware / software

Configure all networking devices like Cisco router, Switch and etc.

Attend the operation and maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems to ensure the Network availability.

Document resolutions for future reference

Provide monthly reports on activities to the Chief of IT

Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements:
