Hire Digital is seeking a NextJS Developer (Freelance, Remote) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make your mark by updating an existing client’s website and building a brand-new marketing website from the ground up. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in NextJS development, a deep understanding of React, and the ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, develop, and test NextJS-powered marketing websites from the ground up.
Integrate new and existing backend APIs and services with the NextJS front-end.
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented.
Develop responsive, interactive, and engaging websites using the latest NextJS features, including Vercel and App Router.
Maintain and optimize the performance of existing NextJS websites.
Implement ad-hoc development requests and enhancements as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working with NextJS 14 and Typescript.
Proficient in React, with a solid understanding of its core concepts and best practices.
Strong working knowledge of the differences between Server and Client Components in NextJS.
Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Demonstrated expertise in using the NextJS Page Router and App Router.
Understanding of Git, software development methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with CSS-in-JS solutions like Style Components, CSS Modules, and Tailwind CSS is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
