Position Objectives:
Lead and actively participate in development projects for our product while contributing to all development-related technical operations.
Involved in analysing requirements, proposing effective solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of Odoo-based projects.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Gather and document ERP application requirements.
Design, develop, and test Odoo (OpenERP) modules, projects, products, and interfaces.
Develop new add-ons or customise and maintain existing modules based on defined processes and requirements.
Prepare complete and clear documentation for executed tasks.
Test new features or modifications to existing application modules in alignment with application support protocols.
Configure, install and maintain server and multi-database Odoo environments.
Perform development tasks in systems built with Python.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Odoo development.
Strong expertise in writing REST API codes and integrating them with backend systems.
Knowledge of integration mechanisms with non-Odoo-based systems.
Proficiency in Python development frameworks and Linux systems.
Excellent command of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
Familiarity with frontend development languages and Agile software development practices is an advantage.
Ability to learn quickly and deliver results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
