We are currently seeking a Oracle DBA and Golden Gate Replication Specialist – REMOTE CANADA to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions (Oracle Golden Gate and Qlik (Attunity))
Provide operational support to customer events such as releases and maintenance as required
Support significant projects such as upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises
Create, maintain, and improve various forms of script or code to enable monitoring and automation
Log, schedule and track all changes using change management system tools • Respond to trouble states and incidents, applying necessary repairs or restoration of service
Protecting our customers and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions
Qualifications:
Required:
Oracle or other relational database require 10-15 years of experience
Prior years of experience with Oracle Golden Gate
Basic understandingofdatabase platforms such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
Basic understanding of any scripting language such as Unix shell scripts or Perl
Experience withMicrosoft Office products
Written and oral communication skills thatcaninterface with people of a technical and non technical background
Teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills
Customer service experience
Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
