Over the last four years, we’ve established partnerships with 12,000+ companies, 100+ universities, and supported thousands of students and graduates in becoming more employable via our online work experience product.

As a Partnerships Account Manager you will provide world-class support to a growing portfolio of APAC university partners, ensuring smooth onboarding & seamless program implementation, encouraging program adoption and success, and you will be responsible for delivering recurring & increasing revenues through partnership renewals and expansion.
As the primary contact for your partnerships, your role will cover the full spectrum of account management and customer success.
You will be a detail-orientated “end-to-end” operator that can do both strategy AND execution (more on that later!).
Building brand reputation: As a key ambassador of Virtual Internships, you will establish positive relationships with our APAC university partners, creating a ripple effect of positive word-of-mouth that will enhance our reputation and grow our business.
Increasing product adoption: You will work collaboratively with university partners to ensure successful marketing and promotion of our virtual internship programs, increasing the adoption rate and driving more students to participate in this valuable learning experience.
Seamless program implementation: You will use your exceptional project management skills to coordinate internal and external stakeholders, deliver end-to-end program management, and ensuring a seamless experience for our university partners and their students.
Communication excellence: As the primary point of contact for university partners, you will proactively provide timely updates, anticipating their needs before they even arise. Your exceptional communication skills will be critical to building trust, and driving customer satisfaction, and retention.
Data-driven insights: You will use data analytics to measure program success, identify areas of opportunity, and use insights to deliver a compelling story to drive customer satisfaction and renewals.
Partnership expansion: You will be responsible for driving partnership expansion, seeking out opportunities to grow our current partnerships and establishing new connections across the APAC region. Your target-driven approach will be key to our continued success and growth.
Collaborative innovation: You will work collaboratively with a global team of EdTech professionals, leveraging their knowledge, insights, and experience to innovate and enhance our virtual internship offerings. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of work-based learning, making a real impact on the lives of students and graduates in the APAC region.
Enabling employability: You will be at the forefront of a movement to democratize access to meaningful work-based learning experiences, enabling students to enhance their employability, build key skills, and ultimately secure their dream job. By playing a pivotal role in this process, you will help transform lives, build brighter futures, and make a real difference in the world.
In your first month, you will:
Get onboarded and brought up to speed with all things VI – our company structure, product, mission, and values
Meet with colleagues across the company and start building relationships that will help you better understand the company
Review our current programs, systems, and data so you can gain insight into where we currently are.
Start building relationships with key university partners, gaining a deep understanding of their institution, motivations for working with Virtual Internships, and the outcomes they want to achieve.
Within 3 months, you will:
Conduct regular check-ins with university partners to ensure program success and identify opportunities for upselling and expansion.
Collaborating with the Marketing team to create and distribute targeted content to increase product adoption among partner universities’ student populations.
Streamlining and optimizing internal processes for program delivery and stakeholder communication to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Utilizing data analysis and reporting to identify trends and insights, and using this information to drive strategy and inform decision-making for partnership growth and renewal.
Within 6 months, you will:
Develop and execute strategic plans for partnership growth and expansion, leveraging insights from data analysis and customer feedback to drive targeted outreach and engagement with potential new partners.
Create and lead training sessions and webinars for university partners, helping them to effectively promote and implement Virtual Internships programs among their student populations and drive increased adoption and engagement.
Proactively identify areas for improvement in current partnerships and develop and execute plans to address any issues and improve program success and partner satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product, to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment on partnership goals and objectives.

As an EdTech disruptor, we need someone who can obsess over the details while keeping their eyes on the bigger picture. We’re looking for someone who is meticulous and can juggle multiple projects with ease.
You must have a passion for people, with a genuine interest in building relationships and creating long-lasting partnerships. Our ideal candidate is a natural networker, able to communicate confidently and compellingly with diverse groups of stakeholders.
You are a clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. You are comfortable using data to inform your approach and can present findings in a compelling way to stakeholders.
We need someone who is results-driven and knows how to deliver value to both students and partners. You will be comfortable working towards targets and are energized by seeking out opportunities for growth and expansion.
To thrive in this role, you must be a proactive problem-solver, able to anticipate issues and come up with solutions. You will have a growth mindset, be willing to take calculated risks, and always be open to learning and improving.
3 years+ experience in an account management/partner-facing role
3 years+ experience working with APAC region universities
In addition to partnerships management experience, you’ve got qualifications or experience in some of these areas: Business, Psychology, sales/ negotiation, marketing, or project management.
You stand out from the crowd if:
You have worked at a Series A or Series B scaleup
You have worked at a remote-first organization
If you don’t have 3 years+ of experience in an innovative account management role then we are also interested if you’re seeking a switch into partnerships and have 5 years+ experience in sales management or education program delivery roles.
