We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for managing and processing payroll efficiently and accurately using UKG PRO(Ultimate Kronos Group) software. This role requires a thorough understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and data management to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.
Duties:
· Execute end-to-end payroll functions using UKG, including data entry, payroll calculations, and disbursement of salaries.
· Maintain and update employee records in UKG, ensuring accurate information regarding salaries, benefits, and deductions.
· Ensure compliance with USA employment laws and regulations, including tax withholdings, national insurance contributions, and other statutory requirements.
· Generate and analyze payroll reports, including summaries of earnings, deductions, and taxes, and provide insights to management as needed.
· Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies from employees and management, ensuring prompt
· Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve any UKG system issues; participate in system upgrades and testing.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of efficient payroll procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience with a strong background in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
· Proficiency in UKG, with a solid understanding of payroll systems, HRIS, and relevant software tools.
· In-depth knowledge of USA payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
· Exceptional accuracy in processing payroll and maintaining financial records.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Technical Skills * Payroll Processing: Experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
UKG PRO (Ultimate Kronos Group): Advanced proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems like UKG.
HRIS Software: Knowledge of other Human Resource Information Systems (if applicable).
Data Management: Ability to maintain and update employee records accurately.
Payroll Reporting: Expertise in generating and analyzing payroll-related reports.
System Troubleshooting: Experience collaborating with IT teams for resolving system issues or implementing upgrades.
