About the Opportunity
Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle are processed, reconciled, audited of outputs and transmitted accurately and timely.
What you’ll get to do
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, reconciliation, and auditing for assigned clients.
Perform quality control and audits to minimize payroll errors and defects, and resolve payroll issues with internal teams.
Use analytical skills to handle incidents and provide timely customer updates while maintaining satisfaction.
Monitor, process, and validate import/export files, logging cases, and updating status on Share Points.
Meet or exceed KPIs, implement corrective actions, and track delivery data for performance analysis.
Contribute to process improvements, proactively identify risks, and escalate issues to management as needed.
Accountable for individual performance and development, aiming to become a Subject Matter Expert.
Skills and experience we value
Strong experience in high-volume payroll operations, with an understanding of payroll, RTI, and relevant legislation.
Previous experience in payroll outsourcing/consulting and customer support, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in time management, prioritization, and using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrates qualities like quality focus, results orientation, adaptability, and teamwork.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and systems orientation.
HSC Holder or Higher Education
CIPP certified / Native Payroll certified (EMEA)
Sound knowledge of GDPR
At least 2 years of work experience in a customer-facing office environment
Mid Shift UK working hours – 11.30 – 20.30
Ability to work overtime (Weekday/Weekend) during year end season and including Mauritius public holidays
