Job Description
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large and diverse workforce. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and be part of a supportive team that values precision, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing (large volume preferred)
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with payroll systems (Chris 21 looked upon favourably but is not a prerequisite)
A team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
