Our client, a dynamic marketing firm, is seeking a Policy Analyst Manager to provide project management and related technical services for a government healthcare client. This role involves overseeing a small team and managing a contract that supports strategic communications and project management efforts across multiple subordinate offices.
The scope includes organizing leadership planning meetings, analyzing and communicating organizational outcomes, and ensuring alignment with the mission. The Policy Analyst Manager will also guide the team in providing policy support services, which include drafting scenario-based white papers, conducting research, and monitoring legislative, regulatory, and judicial changes that influence healthcare and the national healthcare system.
Project Duration: This is a long-term contract.
Location: Fully remote position
Responsibilities:
Serve as the PM responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of work performance, often involving complex and inter-related project tasks and the management of contractor personnel in multiple locations.
Provide overall direction of program activities and successful completion of all assigned tasks.
Manage and maintain contractor interface with senior stakeholders at the customer’s organization.
Consult with government, project team members, and subject matter experts to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.
Establish and maintain schedules, metrics, and financial reports to show progress and effectiveness of projects to clients.
Organize and assign responsibilities to contract staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years of related project management experience.
Master’s degree in a related field mandatory.
Experience supporting complex projects within the federal government.
Familiarity with health policy and experience working for federal, state, or local health agencies, hospitals, health care systems, or health research entities.
Demonstrated experience leading widespread education, awareness, and implementation campaigns for the federal sector.
Experience conducting research, drafting scenario-based white papers, collaborating with senior health care leaders, monitoring and interpreting policy, and leading a team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Demonstrated knowledge of public health, strategic communications and planning, media strategies, change management, policy, risk management, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
