Private Wealth Advisor | Remote
A wealth management and alternative investments firm serving individuals and institutions, offering proprietary alternative investments across multiple asset classes – including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and private debt. The firm also provides traditional equity and fixed income portfolios, along with comprehensive financial services such as wealth management, business management, tax advisory, and insurance services.
The firm is seeking a Wealth Advisor to join its Private Wealth group – an excellent opportunity to become part of a modern, fast-growing investment firm. The Wealth Advisor will play a critical role in developing and managing new client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for a select group of private clients. In addition, the Wealth Advisor will help identify and introduce new business development opportunities to the firm.
In this role, you will manage client relationships by delivering thoughtful, expert financial planning advice and coordinating with internal teams to exceed client expectations. You will also contribute to growing the firm’s book of business by balancing your time between servicing existing clients and engaging new prospects, all while supporting the firm’s broader success and continued expansion.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage new client relationships, including ongoing client communications
Serve as the primary point of contact for both existing and newly onboarded clients
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and engage in strategic networking
Implement comprehensive financial plans, coordinating closely on estate planning, business management, and tax strategies
Work closely with department heads to ensure clients’ investment strategies align with their broader planning objectives
Partner with fund managers to advise clients and allocate assets into suitable alternative investment strategies
Uphold a commitment to exceptional client service through professional excellence and the highest ethical standards
Ensure full compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth advisory, with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships
Proven track record of actively pitching and onboarding new clients
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (preferred)
This position offers incentive-based compensation, so actual earnings will vary based on individual performance. The anticipated total compensation range for this role is $120,000-$300,000+, which includes a forgivable draw salary typically between $100,000 and $200,000, along with incentive compensation. The draw salary is flexible and will ultimately be determined by the candidate’s experience. In addition, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance; a 401(k) plan with matching contributions; paid time off (PTO) and stock market holidays; as well as other fringe benefits. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
