The Product Manager will be responsible for providing end to end oversight to UMR’s UM/Affordability Product processes. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and remediating the products and processes launched and managed by the UM/Affordability team. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring product trends and influencing ideas for capital projects that will support products long term.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides support to UM/Affordability products like the Provider Portal, UM Product, Site of Service, and others after release
Monitors released product performance, from a full end to end perspective and works with respective areas to resolution of issues
Tracks issues for trending concerns that need attention within Product Design
Serves as a SME for UMR to support questions about released products (UM and other affordability initiatives, including the Prior Authorization portal)
Develops and implements change control processes for the maintenance of UM/Affordability products
Develops and implements maintenance processes of products for ongoing performance, ensuring other changes that may impact the product are considered and immediate adjustments are made (if needed) and major adjustments are channeled through the Product Design team for prioritization
Demonstrates accountability and ownership of programs/projects, SME support assigned to successfully deliver on assignments
Monitors SLAs
Works with Quality to ensure any issues are managed in a timely and reasonable fashion
Manages performance by assessing and auditing current programs and quickly remediates issues with respective areas
Provides feedback in a positive and helpful way
Acts as liaison between End to End Functional areas impacted by the product and manages relationships for the successful performance of the product
Defines applicable quality measures to evaluate product performance
Reviews product trends and market needs to identify opportunities for improvement
Informs the product development team of future product development enhancement/release opportunities and influences the design and priority
Ensures that project documentation is current and communicated to applicable stakeholders
Monitors and evaluate product performance on an ongoing basis, using applicable performance metrics
Manages complex projects in a self-directed manner

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Utilization Management experience
5+ years of experience working in a complex matrixed work environment with competing priorities
4+ years using data for analysis, including Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
3+ years working at or serving a TPA, preferably UMR
2+ years of managing projects
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Visio or similar program skills
Solid analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze, QA, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
Excellent project management skills
Excellent presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of UMR experience
5+ years of project management experience
3+ years Issue resolution experience
Utilization Management and/or Affordability product initiative experience
End to End clinical to claims experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,800 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
