Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They’ve been focusing on optimizing processes centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and initiation to execution and closure. This includes creating detailed project plans, identifying risks and issues, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders at all levels. You must also have strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members towards successful project completion.
Your experience in working within the government sector will be highly beneficial as it requires a deep understanding of regulations, policies, and procedures unique to this industry.
Your tasks will include:
Ensure timely delivery of milestones while skillfully managing scope, budget, and resource allocation
Take charge of the entire project management journey, guiding it through every stage from initiation to execution and successful closure
Act as the main liaison among consulting teams, government departments, and other stakeholders.
Set clear goals and define impactful deliverables that resonate with our organizational objectives.
Proactively manage stakeholder expectations by keeping them in the loop about progress, risks, and outcomes.
Ensure that all project activities align with defined scope, objectives, and compliance requirements.
Identify and assess potential project risks, crafting and executing strategies to mitigate disruptions.
Keep a close eye on progress toward project goals and tackle any deviations with timely corrective actions!
Work on projects that focus on emerging technologies, such as AI and Machine Learning, to ensure their seamless integration into business processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to define a clear roadmap for technology adoption and proactively address any challenges that arise during implementation.
Share your experience on government projects to expertly navigate complex regulatory requirements and public sector dynamics.
Offer expert insights on best practices while navigating the unique challenges of public sector transformation
Consistently update senior management and stakeholders on project status, key metrics, and potential challenges.
Create detailed project reports that offer clear insights into performance and outcomes.
Prepare and deliver project documentation, including plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Lead and mentor a diverse project team, cultivating a collaborative work environment.
Delegate tasks efficiently, ensuring that each team member understands their roles and responsibilities.
Offer guidance and support to the team, enhancing performance and ensuring successful project outcomes.
To be a good fit for the Project Manager role, you will have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
10-15 years in project management, specifically within the technology sector.
At least 5 years of experience collaborating with government clients or managing government-related projects.
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing projects that involve emerging technologies, with a particular focus on AI and Machine Learning.

Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid models.
