Quality Assurance Leader, Contract, Work from Anywhere in Canada (REMOTE)
The Quality Assurance Leader/Analyst’s (QAL’s) key responsibility will be to work with the Director, Quality Assurance to proactively identify and forecast account strengths, best practices and training / improvement opportunities for adjusters, with the objective of securing the delivery of a high quality of claims management as defined by clients both internal and external. This will be accomplished by completing regular and/ or specified reviews of physical / electronic files measured against a set of performance indicators which are aligned with client-specific and/or corporate expectations.
Mobility is also necessary as travel may be required. However, this is a remote position that allows for work anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities:

Work as member of a regional management team as the team expert on QA performance criteria and system for both regional and account specific trending.

Work closely with the Director, Quality Assurance and National Accounts Business Unit Leaders to create and implement an annual QA Business Plan

Make recommendations and develop action plans on how to improve file quality to the BULs at monthly and/or quarterly intervals.

Make recommendations and develop action plans to promote skill acquisition and development of adjusters through specified training programs.

Involvement in development of the KPIs to be utilized in the measurement of QA performance ensuring alignment with the unique needs of ClaimsPro’s clients.

Actively and proactively participate on acquisition / transition teams, utilizing the file review to identify, quantify and clarify file type, volume and health. Make recommendations to ClaimsPro transition team leader, client and/or executive.

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the QA program

Other Duties will include:

Identification of potential E & O exposures.

Conduct joint reviews with National Insurer Account clientele to ensure mutual expectations and needs are met.

Conduct blind audits with members of the QA team to ensure all QALs are working within the same parameters.

Participate in Quarterly meetings with Business Unit stakeholders to encourage a team environment.

Keep current with professional knowledge and changing legislation.

Educate oneself with coverage/policy variances on a national level.

Other duties as required

Education, knowledge and experience required:

CIP, FCIP, or Equivalent

5-10 years of industry experience within a claims environment

Multi line experience

Strong Team Player

Intermediate computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, dBase applications)

Experience developing and implementing action plans

Superior attention to detail

Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
