We are looking for a highly engaged Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with a technical mindset, who can take on a global role working from our Hørsholm site.
We offer a great opportunity to work in an international environment while supporting Novonesis` quality management system, certification strategy and the compliance to various customer, standard and regulatory requirements, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Our team consists of five passionate, quality mindset members, working closely together to support the various business areas in compliance questions. In our department we are responsible for the global certification strategy and minimum requirements for quality, food and feed safety and dietary supplements.
We operate globally and we work in close cooperation with our organization and line of business to ensure that the quality of our products meet customer requirements and compliant to statutory requirements.
While the team emphasizes on-site presence, you can over time enjoy a certain flexibility, with the option to work from home occasionally after a successful onboarding. You will refer to the Head of Global Quality Management.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Being accountable and responsible for implementation and verification of the Novonesis global certification strategy on quality and food/feed safety and other relevant standards
Establishing, maintaining and administering contracts/agreements with certifying bodies re. quality and food/feed safety and other relevant standards (ISO9001, ISO22000, FSSC22000, FAMI-QS, cGMP)
Acting as first point of entry for certifying bodies on global contracts and overall certification governance
Coordinating, planning and administrating global function audits as part of Head office certification set-up; certification related support to production sites
Heading up and leading the Global Audit Administration Team as process owner of global Internal audit process
Participating in Global Quality Management projects and activities upon agreement
Contributing and leading continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
To succeed you must hold:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality/Food Safety Management within a multinational company
BSc degree in Food Science/Food technology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other related discipline
Have in depth knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO22000, ISO9001, FAMI-QS requirements
Be an experienced lead auditor (ISO22000 or ISO9001)
Have proactive approach, attention to details and structured thinking
Be proficient in English, written and spoken
On a more personal level you are passionate about quality and food safety topics and technologies. You are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively and you embrace change as a driver for improvement. Finally, you are a strong communicator who can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including certification bodies.
