Job Summary:

The Region Resource Director will oversee the optimization of FieldCore resource operations globally, including service line and region operations leadership and KPI rhythms. Will build, lead, and direct teams focused on improving the efficiency and quality of Global Resource Operations, while meeting financial and cost targets. Contributes thought leadership and innovation that influences change and advancement of the Resource Operations Strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Resource Operations and Performance Metrics

Develop an operating rhythm for Global Resource Operations aligned to strategic priorities and business rhythms

Develop Global Resource Operations Business KPI aligned to FieldCore Business Objectives

Develop operating processes and drives strategic execution outcomes across service lines, regions and “go to” market customer

Governance of performance measurement strategy and assurance of metrics improvement.

Identify external/internal trends and realign strategies to meet key business priorities/rhythms

Establishing capacity planning across resource operations organization where improvements or changes may be necessary to meet world class operational standards

Optimization

Optimize core business infrastructure to ensure standard operations, consistent processes and cost reduction targets are met across the globe

Collaborate with stakeholders to support the creation of multigeneration plans for system platforms, elections and enhancements.

Supporting the industrialization and execution of ongoing operations for standard platforms

Build, lead, and direct teams focused on improving the efficiency and quality of Global Resource Operations

Travel may be required

May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Work with global service lines to assure right cost and competency across different business verticals

Partner with regions to drive strategies to drive improvement in utilization, FE attrition, and FIFO rate goals are met

Manage, lead, and develop a team of Operations Managers

Travel required

May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering

10+ years in power industry experience including front line experiences as O&M or field engineer in power plant (GTCC preferred)

12+ years progressive operations experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

Good people skills and experiences managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types

English Proficiency Required

Desired Characteristics:

Prior experiences in leading outage planning/execution, or resource management preferred

Master’s degree preferred or prior equivalent experience managing global operations

Deep domain expertise / highly advanced knowledge across service lines (gas plant, steam plant, renewables, aeroderivative engines, oil & gas)

Ability to independently develop and execute functional strategies to solve complex operational situations.

Ability to effectively interface with executive leadership / GMs

Highly effective in a matrix environment; influence and motivate geographically dispersed and diverse teams to realize strategic visions

Strong change management, oral and written communication skills
