Responsibilities & Context:
Ray Advertising is searching for a driven and articulate Remote Accountant | Excellent English Communication Required to join our team in a REMOTE/ WORK FROM HOME opportunity. This position involves the Night Shift from Monday to Saturday, 6 PM to 3 AM BD Time and the shift timing is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Position Overview
We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and client-facing Accountant with strong communication skills and expertise in financial processes to manage our Accounts Payable (Publishers) and Accounts Receivable (Advertisers) cycles.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English, experienced with and confident handling sensitive financial communication with clients from the U.S., Canada, India and Pakistan over phone and email.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & Financial Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using and internal systems.
Record, manage, and reconcile all daily transactions including income, expenses, credits, and debits.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and bill.com transaction logs.
Monitor and manage Accounts Payable (to Publishers) and Accounts Receivable (from Advertisers), ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Track outstanding balances and send follow-up reminders for collections.
Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting principles and internal financial procedures.
Invoice Management
Prepare and send accurate invoices to advertisers based on deliverables and timelines.
Follow up with publishers (vendors) to collect and verify invoices for payouts.
Validate payment details including invoice accuracy, amount, routing number, bank account info, and beneficiary name before processing transactions via .
Match invoices with purchase orders and validate them against services rendered.
Ensure all invoices and related documentation are properly categorized, filed, and audit-ready.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Generate detailed financial reports from for management review and internal decision-making.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and cash flow summaries.
Maintain real-time financial spreadsheets and dashboards to track client balances, expenses, and forecasts.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing financial insights to strategy meetings.
Client Communication & Financial Liaison
Serve as the primary financial point of contact for advertisers and publishers across regions including the U.S., Canada, India, and Pakistan.
Communicate with clients via email and phone to resolve financial discrepancies, invoice disputes, or payment delays.
Handle sensitive or complex financial conversations professionally and proactively.
Provide prompt updates, confirmations, and required documentation to clients or internal stakeholders as needed.
Payroll Processing
Process monthly payroll accurately and in compliance with internal and legal requirements.
Ensure timely disbursement of salaries, proper calculation of taxes, benefits, and deductions.
Maintain payroll records and generate payroll summaries when required.
Tax Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure adherence to U.S. tax laws, financial regulations, and best practices in international transactions.
Prepare and maintain financial documentation required for tax filings and compliance audits.
Respond to inquiries from auditors, tax authorities, and internal management regarding financial records.
System Improvement & Workflow Optimization
Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting systems.
Optimize use of for invoicing, reconciliation, reporting, and document management.
Additional Duties
Support ad-hoc accounting tasks, internal reporting requests, and financial operations.
Maintain organized digital documentation and backups for all financial activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with management, sales, and vendor teams to ensure accounting alignment.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a client-facing or agency environment.
Proven experience using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Bill.com, QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho) for invoice processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting is mandatory.
Hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, including payment validation, vendor/client communication, and invoice tracking.
Experience in preparing financial statements, managing spreadsheets, and generating management reports.
Soft Skills:
Fluent in English (spoken and written) – comfortable handling professional communication via email and phone across multiple time zones.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially in invoice verification and financial reporting.
Proactive and resourceful, able to take initiative and solve issues independently under pressure.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Professional, patient, and diplomatic in handling client and vendor interactions, particularly in sensitive payment situations.
Experience:
