We are looking for a Remote Area Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Remote sales especially IKEA for Business and Interior Design Service (B2B & B2C), ensuring high performance and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in driving sales performance and enhancing customer satisfaction while aligning with corporate values and business objectives. This position requires frequent domestic travel.
Who You Are
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in customer service or sales. You should also have at least three years of experience leading leaders and co-workers. Fluency in English & Korean is essential.
A strong understanding of IKEA’s corporate identity, core values, and vision is necessary for this role, along with extensive knowledge of leadership principles that help motivate and empower teams. You should have experience in change management and an ability to implement successful initiatives.
You should be proficient in IKEA’s tone of voice and communication strategies across different channels. Basic knowledge of IKEA’s product range and services is also expected. Experience working with Ingka systems and tools, as well as data analysis and computer proficiency, is highly desirable.
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. You should be able to analyze risks and make informed decisions while demonstrating strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to build and maintain trustful relationships within the organization.

Key responsibilities (text) • In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Remote sales especially IKEA for Business and Interior Design Service (B2B & B2C), fostering an environment of individual growth and high performance. You will be responsible for ensuring that clear guidelines and best practices are effectively communicated to the team to maintain operational consistency.
Additionally, you will oversee performance management processes to uphold high standards of efficiency. By gathering and analyzing feedback from Remote Sales Team, you will identify key opportunities and challenges, ensuring they are addressed in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Working closely with the Remote Sales Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of action plans to achieve strategic targets. It will be your responsibility to align strategies within the team, ensuring seamless execution and desired outcomes.
In addition, should have presentation skill to share our business agenda and knowledge to develop remote sales business and you will also visit to each store in Korea.

And last but not least, you will lead and manage the operational remote sales team within the country in alignment with the group sales counterpart.
