About the Role:
The Remote E-Commerce Store Manager at Hustler Marketing will help us launch our own e-commerce store as a digital marketing agency. This involves spearheading this project and playing a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of our online store strategy, from conception to implementation.
You’ll be in charge of developing, building, managing, and optimizing our online e-commerce store to ensure that we can effectively test our services, stay up to date with the latest trends, and grow our revenue as a full-service marketing agency – and ultimately, run a profitable store. This will involve helping us identify the target market, niche, and products for our online store, building the necessary infrastructure to set it up, and establishing the necessary connections with providers, distributors, and logistics or support staff.
This position requires a great understanding of the digital marketing industry, specifically as it relates to launching and scaling an e-commerce store. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role. You will also need a proactive approach to your work, and the passion and creativity needed when building a new online store from scratch.
Mission statement:
The primary mission of our Remote E-Commerce Store Manager is to ensure the successful launch, management, scaling, and optimization of our new e-commerce store. This involves identifying target markets, niches, and products that will resonate with our ideal clients, building our store from the ground up, collaborating with our creative and technical teams to create content for our store, liaising with distributors, suppliers, and partners for our store, and leveraging your expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce to drive our new e-commerce store’s growth and overall profitability.
General responsibilities:
The responsibilities of our Remote E-Commerce Store Manager include the following:

Being in charge of our new e-commerce store as a whole

Identifying the purpose, target market, niche, and products for our new e-commerce store

Planning our e-commerce store’s strategy to align with our business objectives

Leading the development of our online store strategy, from conception to implementation

Building and maintaining the needed infrastructure and establishing connections with distributors, suppliers, partners, logistics, and support staff required for the store

Overseeing all aspects of the online store’s operations, including product selection, inventory management, and customer service, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers

Overseeing the testing of our marketing services for proof of concept and boosting revenue

Scaling the e-commerce business by identifying opportunities for expansion and growth

Developing and executing e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets

Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize the store’s performance

Implementing pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales

Ensuring compliance with e-commerce regulations and best practices

Performing market and competitor research to identify new opportunities for growth

Collaborating with our internal teams (including management, R&D, sales representatives, account managers, account managers’ associates, copywriters, and designers)

Overall, the Remote E-Commerce Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful launch, management, and optimization of our own e-commerce store.

Your efforts in identifying market opportunities, curating product offerings, optimizing website performance, and fostering relationships with suppliers and distributors will ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our customers.
Requirements
Position specifications:
The Remote E-Commerce Store Manager position includes committing to the following:

Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hours

An average of 120 to 140 tracked hours per month consistently

Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD + profit/ revenue share of the actual store

Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement

Committing to our internal NDA and protecting business interests and proprietary information

Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first month

Regular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 months

About You:
Profile:
To succeed in this role, you need to embody a high tolerance for risks, as you will be taking full ownership of your responsibilities and driving forward the launch and success of our online store with autonomy. An ability to manage people is essential for this role, as you will collaborate with our internal teams, clients, external suppliers, distributors, and partners. Your proactive and organized approach will help you succeed in identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and on time. Additionally, your aptitude for building and implementing systems and workflows will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our new e-commerce store.
The ideal person for this role is creative, analytical, very communicative, resourceful, passionate about digital marketing, and driven to succeed. Availability and consistency are highly important factors for us, so our Remote E-Commerce Store Manager should display these qualities when it comes to workload commitments and work hours.

Key requirements:
The Remote E-Commerce Store Manager position has the following key requirements:

A minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience managing or building e-commerce stores

Having built your own successful e-commerce store in the past would be a big plus

Any experience with e-commerce logistical processes, including supplier management and quality control, as well as a good understanding of e-commerce marketing channels and trends

Profound understanding of launching and scaling e-commerce businesses

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technology

Proficiency in data analysis to drive strategic decision-making

Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills

Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (You must be fluent in English, although English doesn’t have to be your native language)

Must be available and responsive during our office hours

Must be able to consistently work full-time remotely
