JOB OVERVIEW
We are a growing Accounting Firm specializing in optimizing bookkeeping processes to deliver clear financial insights. We also assist clients in preparing their books for company sales and offer strategic financial advice, analytics, and dashboards to help businesses thrive.
We’re looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to help launch and grow our Tax Service Division. In this client-facing role, you’ll manage the Tax Division, build our team of Tax Preparers, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws. You’ll also advise clients on tax savings and advanced financial planning. Proficiency in Drake tax software and extensive experience with tax preparation and e-filing are required.
This ideal candidate will also be proficient in providing advanced tax advice and financial planning for our clients, and possess the analytical skills necessary to accurately assess quarterly tax estimates and annual tax obligations based on financial records.

This role is full-time and requires the candidate to work exclusively for our firm. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work some of their hours in the US Central Standard Time Zone (CST) to meet with clients and our team, while their other hours can be worked whenever they wish.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE MOST OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
3+ years experience and highly proficient with preparing and filing personal Federal and State Income Tax Returns with Form 1040, Schedule A, Schedule B, Schedule D, Schedule 8812, and other relevant tax forms
3+ years experience and highly proficient with preparing and filing business Federal and State Income Tax Returns with Form 1120-S, 1120, Schedules C, Form 4562, Form 8829, and other relevant tax forms
3+ years experience and highly proficient with Drake tax software to prepare and e-file both Personal and Business tax returns at the Federal and State level
Experience estimating and filing quarterly taxes owed for business owners
Experience with tax laws and regulations applicable to the U.S.-based clients
Experience in client-facing roles, providing tax advice and financial planning
Experience with State sales tax preparation and filing

Enjoy handling client inquiries, providing timely and clear responses and support
Available to work during the US Central Standard Time Zone as needed
COMPENSATION:
– $10 per hour – first three months / onboarding period
– $12 per hour – 4th to 12th month / working under the current management to advance in their role (more time if needed)
– $13-$15 per hour – after one year
– OFS PhilHealth and SSS self-payment reimbursement monthly
– annual promotion with raises to follow depending on your level of success in the position
– Pay periods – 6th and 20th of each month
Over the next 3 – 5 years, this individual would progress in their role with more strategically focused responsibilities and manage a team at higher compensation ranging from $30,000 USD ($1.7M Philippine pesos) to $40,000 USD ($2.25M Philippine pesos) annually.
