About the Role:
We are seeking a Remote Lead Architect with a passion for high-quality design and meticulous attention to detail to lead the full architectural process from concept through to detailed drafting and rendering. This role focuses on residential projects, including single-family homes, duplexes, and multi-family dwellings.
As the Lead Architect, you’ll take ownership of delivering accurate and visually compelling architectural drawings and 3D renderings. You will play a critical role in shaping the look, functionality, and feasibility of each project while ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design and development of residential projects from start to finish.
Create and manage full sets of construction documents and 3D renderings.
Interpret client requirements, site conditions, and local codes into functional and beautiful designs.
Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
Oversee revisions, redlines, and technical detailing with exceptional accuracy.
Maintain high standards in every drawing and rendering, ensuring consistency, precision, and presentation quality.
Proactively manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a residential architect with a portfolio of completed home or duplex projects.
Strong proficiency in Chief Architect is highly preferred; experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools is acceptable.
Deep understanding of residential construction techniques, zoning requirements, and building codes.
Excellent eye for design, proportion, and detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver under deadlines.
