Position Summary:
Reporting to the LMS Manager, the Specialist provides support in Canvas, Zoom, and other academic technologies at Yeshiva University. The position is remote and works on Eastern Standard Time [New York]. The preferred schedule is Sunday – Thursday.
Position Responsibilities:

Serve as primary resolution resource for Canvas LMS system

Provide excellent customer service through the resolution of help desk tickets

Administer technical support for Zoom, Canvas, and other technology projects as assigned

Troubleshoot technical challenges

Work with faculty at all levels of technical competence

Develop and deliver training materials such as best practices for Canvas to faculty

Continuous learning Canvas-related education technologies

Experience & Educational Background:

High School Degree or GED

Experience supporting Canvas at the university level

Demonstrated knowledge of online learning and related applications

Understanding of FERPA and other regulations applicable to higher education

Skills & Competencies:

Self-driven and able to work autonomously

Excellent customer support and time management skills

Interest in academic technology

Professionalism and high attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Salary Range: $27.50 – $33.00 per hour
