Remote Menu Database Manager

We are hiring immediately for a Remote Menu Database Manager position.

Location: Remote (15-20% travel)

Salary Range: $72k – $80k

Job Summary
The Remote Menu Database Manager works collaboratively with the Nutrition Informatics Project Manager, the Division Director, Patient Dining, the Compass IT Project Manager and applicable account level and other support personnel to implement MyDining for selected Morrison Healthcare accounts. General accountabilities will include coordination and oversight of menu database builds with menu database coordinators, initiating Webtrition menu cycle and recipe imports, training MyDining software administrators and menu database coordinators, participating in weekly calls, participating in software release tasks, including participating in software upgrade enhancement processes, and software enhancement testing with the goal of successfully implementing MyDining software in targeted Morrison Healthcare accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicates progress of MyDining project to appropriate personnel.

Develops strategies to maintain and support client satisfaction with MyDining at a level that ensures account retention.

Devises strategies to involve clinicians in the design, implementation and evaluation of account-specific MyDining menu database

Influences others towards using technology for nutrition practice

Escalates issues in a timely manner to Director, MyDining

Oversees the successful and on-time delivery of each hospital’s MyDining menu database build

Participates in and provides constructive feedback on weekly MyDining calls

Plans, modifies and develops application/system training for users and menu database coordinators

Works with CNM, culinary and operations team in reviewing menu cycles for regulatory compliance

Coordinates and oversees Webtrition menu cycle imports to MyDining

Plans, coordinates and oversees all menu database activities

Tests, and if necessary retests, software enhancements in TEST MyDining system and provides constructive feedback in a timely manner

Confirms efficacy and effectiveness of software enhancements in PROD environment by testing each enhancement and printing a test patient

Tracks and evaluates ways to improve efficiencies for database builds; utilizes and revises implementation tools and workbooks and any other related resources

Provides support for MyDining accounts including responding to HelpDesk tickets, Go Live support and ongoing support for transitional responsibilities for maintaining the database

Completes tasks associated with the menu database build as needed in conjunction with Menu Database Coordinators

Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies (CMS, TJC, DNV) and Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures

Education, Training and Experience:
Required

Bachelor’s Degree in dietetics

Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration)

Three (3) years or more of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian

Experience with building menu databases in software systems like CBORD, Computrition, Horizon, MyDining.

In depth knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance standards for food and nutrition services.

In depth knowledge and understanding of the Morrison Policies and Procedures Manual and the Manual of Clinical Nutrition Management

In depth knowledge of Webtrition or other recipe and nutrient analysis software and MHC Patient Dining Programs

Preferred

Prior project management experience and experience with conversion projects such as diet office software and/or patient programs
