Remote Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Specialty Referral Management – CA license
– Remote | Supporting a Rural Health Clinic
– $150,000/year + Full Benefits | Productivity-Based Compensation
– Monday – Friday | 8-Hour Shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with 20+ years of clinical experience and primary care certification to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is designed to enhance specialty referral management for patients in a rural health clinic, improving access to timely care.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for all non-surgical specialty referrals within the clinic.
Utilize AI-driven specialty support tools and UpToDate medical references to assess, diagnose, and manage cases remotely.
Collaborate with remote specialists for consultation as needed.
Optimize patient care so that by the time an in-office specialist referral (which can take months) is scheduled, the patient may no longer require it.
Provide occasional primary care visits when no other provider is available.
Maintain an efficient workflow, averaging three patients per hour.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $150,000/year (with productivity-based incentives)

Ideal Profile
What We’re Looking For:
20+ years of clinical experience (NP or PA)
Primary Care Certification (FNP, AGNP, PA-C with primary care experience)
California License
Self-motivated, confident, and capable of autonomous practice
Experience handling specialty referrals and collaborating with specialists
Comfort using AI-powered medical tools and telehealth platforms
