Title: CAD Engineer Co-Op
Location: A – 121 Silvers Spring, MIDC Taloja, Navi Mum (Remote)
We are looking for a skilled CAD Engineer Co-Op (Remote) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models of engineering designs, supporting the product development process, and ensuring accuracy in all technical drawings. The CAD Engineer will work closely with other engineers, product designers, and project managers to translate concepts into precise and detailed engineering drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Create and modify technical drawings based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to interpret design concepts and ensure that all models and drawings adhere to required standards and specifications.
Ensure that CAD data is maintained and organized, keeping accurate records of all versions and revisions.
Perform simulations and analyses of designs to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to verify accuracy and completeness.
Work with manufacturers and suppliers to address any issues related to the fabrication or production of designs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to design processes.
Assist in project documentation and ensure that all technical documents are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Experience with product development, from concept to production, including materials and prototyping.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CAM software or CNC programming.
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
Familiarity with 3D printing technologies.
