VirtueStaff is looking for an experienced Remote Route Manager/Scheduler to join our team. The Route Manager/Scheduler efficiently plans and manages daily service routes for our field technicians from a remote location. This role involves optimizing schedules, handling inbound calls, and ensuring timely service delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize daily service routes using scheduling software and mapping tools
Monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve service delivery
Schedule appointments and manage service requests
Handle inbound calls, provide schedule updates, and address inquiries via phone and email
Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, technician availability, and client information
Resolve scheduling conflicts and address route-related issues
Communicate with drivers to ensure they have the information and resources needed for their routes
Analyze route data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement
Requirements
Proven experience in route management, scheduling, or dispatch, preferably in a service-oriented industry
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in routing software and logistics management tools
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on metrics
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
Problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle unexpected challenges
