Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team as a remote consultant. This role involves developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate will bring strong integration skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Build and configure components using Lightning (Aura/LWC), Flows, and other declarative tools.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using APIs and middleware.
Perform unit testing and support QA and UAT processes.
Follow Salesforce best practices in governance, security, and performance optimization.
Stay updated on Salesforce releases and evolving features in relevant clouds.
Required Skills:
5–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including work with Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Strong skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration tools.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
Proficiency in data migration tools like Data Loader or dataloader.io.
Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, or cloud-specific certifications).
Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments.
Prior experience with higher education, marketing, or community engagement platforms.
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in remote work settings.
