About the Role
We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Researcher to support the creation of engaging long-form video content by uncovering meaningful facts, hidden narratives, and nuanced angles. This role isn’t about surface-level Googling — it’s about digging a little deeper to help build compelling stories around people, trends, industries, and internet culture.
You’ll work directly with a content creator who focuses on storytelling that goes beyond the obvious, so communication, initiative, and creative thinking are key. Whether it’s gathering background on a niche influencer, exploring a cultural trend, or pulling together details for a celebrity deep dive — your job is to paint the full picture.
Key Responsibilities
Research people, companies, industries, or online trends in detail
Find credible, unique sources beyond the first page of Google
Identify and highlight angles, timelines, and connections that help tell a compelling story
Summarize findings in an organized, clear format for scripting and video planning
Communicate frequently with the content creator for clarification, updates, and iteration
Suggest new or overlooked ideas based on current digital trends
Ideal Profile
Required Qualifications
Strong written communication skills in English
Familiarity with digital culture, creators, and online communities
Comfortable working with minimal direction and researching independently
Ability to structure findings clearly and identify what matters most
Detail-oriented mindset — willing to go past surface-level info
Comfortable with tight turnarounds and iterative feedback
