We are looking for multiple Riggers/Welder to join our team in Angola on Skandi Seven. As a Rigger/Welder you will be responsible for setting up and operating lifting equipment to more heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities include:
Verifying that all rigging equipment used during the lift is fit for purpose.
Confirm all loads to be lifted are rigged in accordance with applicable standards, plans, and procedures to ensure the safety of the lift.
Responsible to ensure that the project welding and burning equipment is properly maintained and fit for use.
Safeguard that only other certified and confirmed riggers attach and detach lifting equipment.
Attend “Tool-Box-Talk” Meeting and assisting in the compilation/review of risk analysis.
Utilize and support exercise All Stop Authority should the need occur.

Requirements
The deck crew should have strong English writing and communication skills.
Applicants should have practical experience in welding and hold relevant welding certifications
Familiarity with subsea welding standards is highly desirable
Interpreting welding symbols and diagrams, and understanding welding blueprints
We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rigging and welding, preferably in offshore or industrial environments
You need the following courses / certificates:
Basic Safety Course.
Rigging, hooking and banksman course.
Must hold a valid offshore medical certificate
Preferably welding certificate for seafastening according to ISO 9606-1 Process 111 P BW/FW FM2 PD,PE,PF.
Working at Height Course.
Preferably WaH Rescue Course.
Courses specified that are not held by the candidate will be arranged as required by DOF.
