JOB PURPOSE: The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and increase revenue.
KEY RESPOMSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning and Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets

Identify new business opportunities and markets to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and inform strategy adjustments.

Sales Management

Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, targeting corporate clients, event organizers, and high-net-worth individuals for restaurant bookings and event reservations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners to maximize sales opportunities.

Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals.

Sales Targets:
Monthly Sales Target: Achieve a minimum of $20,000 in sales revenue from restaurant bookings, events, and promotional activities.
Quarterly Sales Target: Achieve a cumulative sales revenue of GHc 180,000 with a 10% growth rate per quarter.
Event Bookings: Secure a minimum of 3 high-value events per quarter, generating at least GHc15000 in revenue.
Digital Marketing and Brand Management
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and online advertising to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that align with the brand’s positioning and objectives.
Manage the company’s online presence, including website updates, content creation, and online reputation management.
Event Promotion and Coordination
Collaborate with the Events Manager to promote events and special offerings, driving footfall and customer engagement.
Develop promotional strategies for seasonal events, holidays, and special occasions to maximize attendance and revenue.
Ensure all promotional materials and activities are aligned with the brand and meet high quality standards.
Customer Relationship Management
Implement and manage customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Develop strategies to collect customer feedback and use insights to improve the guest experience and marketing efforts.
Monitor customer engagement and respond to inquiries, reviews, and feedback across all digital platforms.
Budget Management and Reporting
Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Analyze marketing and sales data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to the General Manager.
Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and performance reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, motivate, and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Coordinate with other departments, including events, operations, and customer service, to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive team success and business growth.
KPI’s:

Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating at least a 10% growth rate in revenue each quarter.

Lead Generation: Generate a minimum of 30 qualified leads per month through various marketing channels.

Customer Acquisition and Retention: Increase the customer base by 20% annually and improve retention rates through effective marketing and CRM strategies.

Brand Visibility and Engagement: Achieve a 20% increase in social media followers and engagement and a 15% increase in website traffic quarterly.

Campaign ROI: Ensure a minimum ROI of 80% for all marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Event Success: Increase event bookings by 20% annually and achieve a 90% satisfaction rate based on customer feedback.

Cost Efficiency: Maintain marketing costs at or below 10% of the total revenue generated from campaigns.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Academic:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related
Field
Technical:

Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively and remotely.

Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Proficiency in marketing and sales tools (e.g., CRM software, Google Analytics, social media management platforms)

Must have experience in digital marketing, sales strategy, brand management, and customer relationship management within the hospitality or food & beverage industry

Must be a creative thinker with strong leadership skills who can lead the marketing team, manage campaigns, and collaborate with the events team to achieve business objectives.
