About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves developing and evolving formal QA processes for Salesforce implementations, ensuring high-quality deliverables through comprehensive testing. As a Salesforce QA Analyst, you will be responsible for various types of testing, creating test plans, and maintaining automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
QA Process Development: Develop and refine formal QA processes using industry best practices to ensure consistent quality across Salesforce projects.
Comprehensive Testing: Perform a wide range of testing types, including functional, non-functional, regression, security, and integration testing.
Test Planning & Execution: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure complete coverage of critical business functions.
Environment Setup: Set up testing environments and mock-up data to perform accurate and thorough testing of Salesforce solutions.
Requirements Translation: Work closely with project teams to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases, ensuring all business needs are addressed.
Reporting & Analysis: Report on test results by analyzing test data, documenting findings, and providing detailed feedback to ensure that final products meet quality standards.
Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Provar or other relevant automation tools. Continuously explore opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
Feedback & Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to development teams to ensure that deliverables align with quality expectations and improve overall product quality.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of QA experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Salesforce QA roles.
Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Salesforce testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Experience with test automation tools such as Provar, Selenium, or similar.
Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and scripts.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Work Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to Have:
Certification: Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Additional Skills: Experience with QA framework development and additional test automation tools.
Desired Skills and Experience:
QA Testing: Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies, including functional, regression, security, and integration testing.
Salesforce Expertise: In-depth experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
Automation Testing: Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
