Education
Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Science (Pass)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
1 to 2 years

Additional Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SCADA systems and PLC programming.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley, or similar).
Experience with SCADA software (Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, etc.).
Knowledge of industrial automation protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC, IEC 61850).
Familiarity with solar energy systems, inverters, and energy meters.
Basic understanding of networking and cybersecurity for SCADA systems.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Preferred: Experience in solar power plant automation and remote monitoring systems is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with PLC programming expertise to join our Solar EPC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems for solar power plants, ensuring seamless monitoring, control, and automation of energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
SCADA System Development & Integration: Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling solar power plants.
PLC Programming: Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation solutions for solar inverters, switchgear, and energy management systems.
Communication & Networking: Configure and maintain industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 60870, DNP3) for data acquisition and control.
Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) dashboards for real-time monitoring and performance analytics.
System Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform system tests, diagnostics, and debugging to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Technical Support & Maintenance: Provide on-site and remote technical support for SCADA and PLC-related issues in operational solar plants.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare system documentation, technical reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
