About the job Senior Accounts Executive (Remote)
Job brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive who will work with customers, internal teams, and management, handling bookkeeping and accounts for the company and customers while ensuring compliance from start to finish.
Responsibilities

Prepare and handle month end accounting – monthly journals, schedules, and bank reconciliation

Assist to extract information for GST submission based on knowledge for GST and submit quarterly GST filing to IRAS

Accurately recording all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll into XERO accounting software

Generate accurate and timely financial statements like balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements via XERO accounting software

Assist to check documents submitted are compliance with internal control procedures and processes are in line with company policy

Ensure smooth execution of month-end and year-end closing processes for customers.

Prepare XBRL financial statements

Maintain a neat and proper filing system for all accounting reporting documents for customers.

Liaise with tax agents, auditors and regulators, answering queries on behalf of clients.

Perform ad hoc duties where required

Communicate and liaise with customers relating their accounting, bookkeeping and Financial Reporting needs

Requirements

At least a Degree in Accountancy and / or other recognized certification in accounting or its equivalents, e.g., ACCA / LCCI

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as an accountant in a Singapore entity, and experience preparing and filing quarterly GST

Meticulous and has an eye for detail

Able to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, powerpoint, excel)

Knowledge in accounting softwares like Infotech or Xero system

Possess strong interpersonal skills, meticulous and, organised

Must be able to communicate with clients in English and Mandarin as we have a sizeable number of clients from China
