Senior Analyst, Workday Finance Reporting (Remote)

Fortrea is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Analyst-Workday Reporting to join our team. The Workday Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reports within the Workday system to support our HR and finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday reporting tools and best practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design and develop Workday reports using standard reporting tools, such as Workday Report Writer and Workday Prism Analytics
Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date on financial reporting regulations and industry standards
Troubleshoot customer financial reporting issues and provide solutions
Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation on financial reporting topics
Build custom reports and dashboards to meet the specific needs of different business units
Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
Maintain existing reports and troubleshoot issues as needed
Stay informed about Workday updates and new features related to reporting, and recommend best practices for implementation
Provide training and support to end users on report creation and usage
Utilize financial reporting knowledge to support customer success
Conduct customer training on financial reporting topics
Provide consultancy and support to Workday customers on financial reporting and other related topics
Analyze customer needs and provide solutions to customer financial reporting issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, cybersecurity, or related field
Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have an accounting and financial reporting background, exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach
5-7 years of experience working with Workday reporting tools
Workday Reporting Certification preferred
5 plus years of experience with Workday data model and reporting capabilities
2-4 years of experience in Workday reporting(finance reports)
Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications
Financial background preferred
Proficiency in SQL and/or other query languages
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
