The Team
Our Health Engineering Solutions (HES) team works side by side with customers to articulate a vision for success, and then make it happen. We know success doesn’t happen by accident. It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst who will be a key driver to make this happen.
The Work
The Senior Business Analyst (BA) supports the prime contractor, interacting with Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) customers and component stakeholders, including analysts and investigators.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Senior BA will support the development of new web applications for analyzing, identifying and deterring fraud waste and abuse within federal healthcare programs , and in doing so, assist to combat patient harm and improve quality of care. Work is in support of requirements for trending, predictive analytics, outlier analysis, and related visualizations.
Required Qualifications

US Citizen or Green Card Holder required.

Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

5+ years of experience, preferably more, working on complex, Agile, new software development projects to include:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills as evident from analysis insights and documentation quality

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of tools and approaches to manage largescale efforts to elicit meaningful business & nonfunctional requirements from stakeholders.

Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions with diverse groups of people, including executives

Experience helping to effectively manage tradeoffs, conflicts, risks, and issues

Able to define scope, prioritize backlog, validate technical solutions, and manage changes.

Able to confidently categorize, prioritize, and organize thousands of detailed requirements and user stories to ensure proper adoption and application

Understands BA frameworks and standards such as BABOK, IIBA, or PMI-PBA, and can help other team members adopt meaningful frameworks as appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise and experience within the FWA field

Prior experience with federal health programs or investigative domains

Someone having previous experience creating systems and solutions that identify, detect, and deter FWA

Someone that can credibly coach and lead group Analysis efforts, and who will be recognized by peers for their superior expertise and productivity

Familiar with the difference between Business Analysis and UI/UX Analysis. Able to use tools from either approach to support solution development.

Has relevant certifications, credentials, or specialized education such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA (or willing to obtain one) to promote credibility and acceptance of their recommendations

Experience with formal Organization Change Management

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $76,848.00 – $130,642.00
