Design and implement DevOps processes to ensure fast, efficient and secure software engineering activity for the engineering team
Maintain Ci/CD pipelines
Work with technology teams to implement an automated, efficient and reliable data pipeline and other integration processes
Keep up to date with the latest related tools and technologies
Deliver technical consulting and subject matter expertise on projects
Troubleshoot and analyse production errors
Partner with the engineering team to innovate new solutions that utilize AWS Cloud Technologies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Substantial experience with Shell Script or sysadmin
2+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role
Experience with AWS Cloud Services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate, ECS, MWAA, Cloudwatch
Experience with automation using Terraform
Substantial experience in building CI/CD pipelines for application and Infrastructure as Code using Gitlab CI
Expert knowledge of code deployment tools and secure software development methodologies
Good understanding of DevSecOps principles
Good knowledge of containerisation
Proficient in Python.
Knowledge of Unix Linux systems and bash shell scripting.
