Storm Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of Europe’s leading tour guide companies with an HQ based in Dublin City Centre, Due to major company growth are looking to expand their IT department by hiring a Senior Data Analyst
This is a 90% remote role with a salary on offer of €65,000-€75,000 with an added 20 day overseas remote working allowance.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments, to gather business intelligence data requirements and translate them into impactful Tableau reports.
Document and standardize existing reports in Tableau and BackOffice, ensuring easy access and enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
Identify and capture reporting requirements that may have been overlooked, actively engaging with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and their insights are valued.
Collaborate with the Data Architect to ensure our data warehouse contains accurate and comprehensive data to support the creation of powerful Tableau reports.
Drive the development, automation, and deployment of captivating Tableau dashboards, empowering key stakeholders to unlock actionable insights and make informed decisions.
Leverage your business acumen and technical expertise to extract, analyze, and present data in a meaningful way, providing valuable insights at various levels of the organization.
Identify and address any data integrity issues within our data sources, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of Tableau reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to enhance process documentation and templates, refining reporting targets and ensuring clarity and accuracy in reporting practices.
Effectively communicate reporting priorities to the management team, advocating for the value and impact of Tableau-driven insights.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met and the data presented in Tableau reports is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrate exceptional expertise in Tableau, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business intelligence data analyst for complex business systems.
Showcase your ability to create intuitive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Tableau visualizations.
Excel in technical communication, both written and verbal, effectively conveying complex concepts and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields, or demonstrate equivalent technical analytics experience.
Proven proficiency in constructing, manipulating, and managing data sets in Tableau, empowering you to unleash the full potential of the tool.
Showcase a minimum of 4 years’ experience with Tableau and a strong background in designing impactful dashboards and reports.
Possess 2+ years of experience with SQL, enabling you to effectively
