Manager / Senior Manager, Buying – e-Commerce Team

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

Execute /Creation of Search digital campaigns with minimum supervisions from the Manager

Have an understanding of the roles and features of various e-Commerce platforms

In six months:

To have POV on how a good campaign should be executed and when or what platform is needed based on campaign objectives

Able to work independently and in a team

Contribute to strategy building for a campaign

Command in CROI, ROAS, CPS – KPI based campaign

In 12 months:

Have a fruitful and objective based discussion with the account teams on how digital platforms can support or be a key driver of a campaign

Able to set clear goals and KPIs for all proposed campaigns

WPP Media Responsibilities:
WPP Media team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The following are the responsibilities of the WPP Media e-Commerce Buying team and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:

Understanding of WPP Media deliverables and campaign KPIs.

Understand media behaviors and how the target audience defined by the Social Buying team interacts with the e-Commerce platforms (i.e. Lazada, Shopee, Amazon etc.)

Understand the dependencies and interactions with both Search (i.e. Google, Microsoft Advertising) and Social (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) touchpoints

Engage with e-Commerce platforms to book, buy, plan, setup and execute media activation campaigns on behalf of the client and setup correct tracking to ensure to be able to report on the campaign performance

Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’ campaigns and advise WPP Media team accordingly

Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables

Ensure understanding and 100% compliance with finance process, WPP Media policies and procedures.

Ensure cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise.

Continuously expand and share knowledge and understanding of new trends, channels and technologies across e-Commerce activation

What your day job looks like at WPP Media:

Execute e-Commerce campaigns on major platform (Lazada, Shopee, Amazon etc.) for all GroupM agencies

Support managers on full funnel planning tactics for e-Commerce activation (awareness, consideration and conversion touchpoints) across multiple e-Commerce platforms both core platforms (i.e. Lazada, Shopee, Amazon etc.)

Implement e-Commerce campaign activities for established local and global brands across multiple industries

Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations

Attain e-Commerce platform certifications when available

Ideally obtain Facebook Blueprint Planner and Buyer certifications to ensure that you understand the end to end journey for a campaign

Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in majors as Media & Advertising, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Any working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant internship programs

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong desire to learn and grow

Effective communication skills and ability to adjust to a fast-changing environment

Team player – able to receive and provide feedback professionally, thrive in a team environment and able to work collaboratively

Passionate about digital media and technology and eager to keep learning
