ENVIRONMENT:
A leading Software Solutions company based in Johannesburg is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team. In this role, you will collaborate with the development team to enhance and build their unique Tax Software Solution. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree or qualification in Computer Science or Software Development and possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience in backend or full stack development. Strong experience with microservices architecture, API development, and database management is essential.
DUTIES:
The Full Stack Developer will:
Develop and maintain backend APIs and system integrations, including implementation and support of APIs, databases, and third-party integrations for the Group’s solution.
Contribute to the development of the client application using the Angular framework.
Lead the implementation of project work, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Technology & Development, Product Owner, Senior Developers, and other team members to align on project goals and solutions.
Work with the following technology stack:
.NET Core (C#)
Azure Technologies (Functions, Storage Accounts, Queues)
NoSQL Databases
Angular Framework
Stay current with new technologies, quickly learn and adapt to integration APIs, and solve complex technical challenges.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & qualifications
Matric certificate
Relevant Computer Science or Programming degree/qualification
Details of experience
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Backend Development or Full stack Development
Experience with microservices, APIs, databases
Experience with client applications – HTML, CSS, Javascript as well as frameworks such as Angular or React
Proven experience working with APIs and Databases
High proficiency in C# and .Net Core
High proficiency with Angular Framework, HTML, CSS and Javascript
Knowledgeable of APIs with third party systems integrations
Comfortable with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
