Location: Indianapolis, IN or Remote
Responsibilities
· Building and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.
· Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across our team and technology stack.
· Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
· Partner closely with architecture teams and drive solutions
· Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.
· Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to standard processes and improving performance.
· Solve production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required.
· Comply with OCM software engineering practices, standards, and principles.
· Implement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy, leveraging strategic tools/technologies, patterns, and processes
· Find opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, automation of common tasks, processes/system capabilities for continuous improvement as applicable
· Partner with teams to build robust, efficient, effective solutions.
· Good track-record of delivering scalable, highly reliable software against tight deadlines
· Strives to build extraordinary experiences, putting users ahead of technology.
· Ability to dive into sophisticated systems and understand how they work.
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
· A self-starter, able to work through problems and seek out assistance, as necessary.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience as Java Full Stack Engineer
· Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline
· Experience working with 5+ years of Angular 8/9, Typescript, PostgreSQL, API Development,
· Experience with Azure Cloud,
· Technical Skills such as Jasmine, Karma, Graph QL

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
