Experience Required: At least 10 years
Responsibilities: * Interface with key stakeholders and provide technical expertise across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Requirements Gathering, Application Architecture, and Design.
Develop high-quality PL/SQL code deliverables for various modules, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
Lead validation and testing efforts, including functional, regression, and performance testing, and support implementation and post-deployment activities.
Optimize database and query performance by analyzing bottlenecks and implementing solutions such as indexing and partitioning.
Utilize performance monitoring tools like STATSPACK, AWR, and ADDM to identify and resolve database performance issues.
Required Qualifications: * Minimum of 10 years of experience in advanced PL/SQL, including records, collections, and analytic functions.
Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
In-depth understanding of Oracle database architecture, including data dictionary views and catalog views.
Hands-on experience in performance tuning using tools like TKPROF and EXPLAIN PLAN.
Expertise in optimizing database performance through indexing, table partitioning, and creating materialized views.
Working knowledge of performance monitoring and reporting utilities such as STATSPACK, AWR, and ADDM.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
