Responsibilities:
Be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for site payments in regards to all systems, processes, and policies.
Review all executed contracts and accurately set-up the payees and budget schedule as governed by the signed contract.
Initiate site payments according to policies and guidelines.
Process site payments related to visits completed, milestones completed and reimbursement for pass through expenses according to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures and Sarbanes Oxley Act.
Route and track payments for approval in a timely manner.
Answer queries from internal and external customers regarding payments and budgets.
Maintain information in appropriate databases or other tools.
Organize, store, archive, and retrieve contracts, payment documentation and other relevant documents.
Coordinate records management practices and records management policy in collaboration with the appropriate sponsor’s record management groups.
Ensure consistency by conducting training, mentoring, and providing oversight of activities.
Develop and maintain data summary reports and related payment reconciliation reports.
Assist in data gathering and analysis.
Assist with the assignment and distribution of workload.
Assist with finance accounting close and quarterly forecasting reporting requirements.
Perform other duties and special project specific tasks as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education:
High School Diploma and minimum of 7 years of clinical payment experience.
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years of clinical payment experience preferred.
Skills & Experience:
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Payment processing expertise
Demonstrated effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Innovative problem solver that can quickly identify problems and recommend as well as implement solutions.
Ability to handle multiple priorities within matrix environment.
Works and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday – Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range: $91,600.00 – $144,100.00
