The role
// As a Pre-Sales Consultant at Masabi, you will be an integral part of our Pre-Sales team. Your primary focus will be on supporting Masabi’s preparation and response to large-scale and complex tenders issued by Transit Authorities. This role involves producing specific deliverables and is initially offered as a fixed-term contract with the potential for extension.
We offer flexible working arrangements, considering both full-time and part-time options based on the selected applicant’s preferences.
Location
// This role is available in a remote model. While candidates based in the UK or North America (East Coast) are preferred, we are open to considering applicants who can work within European and East Coast US time zones.
Responsibilities
Produce customer-facing documentation and materials for formal RFx responses
Develop Implementation Management and Operations Management plans
Assist in collating business requirements and identifying deliverables and potential gaps during formal procurement
Conduct impact analysis on business requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders and partner organisations to establish solutions and understand their impacts
Analyse technical requirements in relation to existing and planned platform capabilities, collaborating with the Product team and partners to align platform features with customer needs
Collaborate with internal teams, such as Product Management, Engineering, and Service Delivery, to develop Solution Architectures, workflow, Processes, and Delivery plans
Work with partner organisations to ensure clear ownership and formulate solutions that align with customers’ business outcomes and technical requirements
Provide guidance and support to the sales team to exceed customer expectations
Support Project Management and Service Delivery teams in mapping outcomes to quality assurance delivery plans
Conduct impact analysis on requirements, ensuring solution establishment and comprehensive documentation
Travel may be required to support workshops with customers and partners
About You
Essential experience in delivering full fare collection ticketing systems to large transit agencies
Extensive customer-facing experience, engaging with large enterprises or government organisations
Previous experience in a Pre-Sales role, supporting large enterprise software procurements
Strong background in solution architecture and design
Familiarity with Requirements Traceability & Management
Knowledge of ITIL service design or equivalent (ISO 20000 or COBIT)
Familiarity with either PMI-PMBOK or Prince II Methodologies
Experience with ISO 9001 Quality management or equivalent
Proficiency in analysing complex systems involving hardware and software
